Rick Cofer
Rick Cofer is the Pastor. He and his wife Cheryl have been in Calhan since 1972. Rick was in the business world as part owner in Woolsey’s Food Center for 25 years before God called him into the ministry. He has been pastoring at Living Word since 1997. Rick and Cheryl have three sons and daughters in-law and 8 wonderful grandchildren. Rick preaches the whole council of God. He stands for Truth that is found in Christ Jesus. John 14:6. Born and raised in the area, originally from Elbert, CO and now living in Peyton, CO. Has been married to his high school sweetheart Marla for 40 years. They have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Tim accepted Christ as his Lord and savior when he was 11 years old and grew up in a loving Christian household. Tim and Marla have been a part of the Living Word family since 2008.
Married, 3 daughters, 4 grandkids. Born and raised in Missouri. Served 4 tears in the Navy. Retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 36 years. Enjoys fishing, hunting and working on tractors and old cars.
Moved to Calhan in 1973, met and married his wife Teri in 1975. They started attending church and were saved in 1982. Bob and Teri have two children Jamie (Josh) Killett and Jeff (Jackie) Klasna. They are blessed with 8 beautiful grandchildren. Bob's favorite things to do are spending time with his family and playing golf.
Ron was born in New York City in 1945. He accepted Christ into his life in 1971. In 1972 he married his wife Linda Edwards, they have two children and five grandchildren. Ron is a retired registered architect. He has been very involved in church as a elder, deacon, bible teacher and preacher.
Garrett is blessed with a wife, Bailey and 2 girls, Josie and Elsie. They live just north of town on their family ranch (est 1891) where they run cattle and raise hay. Garrett accepted the Lord at a young age. In college, he started to understand and follow his faith when he started serving in the college ministry, and went on mission trips to Haiti. We know we are nothing without the Lord and his Grace. Garrett enjoys business, antiques, hunting, and basketball in his free time.
